The delegation of Xiamen Hospital of T.C.M visited China Medical University

Dr. Jin-Chun Chen, the Superintendent of Xiamen Hospital of T.C.M, led a delegation to China Medical University on August 27th for an academic discussion and a tour of CMU’s hospitals.

Founded in 1956, Xiamen Hospital of T.C.M is the largest comprehensive Chinese Medicine Hospital in Fujian Province. There are about 900 beds and millions of outpatients per year.

The academic meeting was chaired by CMU’s Vice-President Prof. Ying-Shiung Lee with the participation of Prof. Sun-Te Kao (Dean, College of Chinese Medicine), Prof. Chieh-Hsi Wu (Chair of School of Pharmacy), Prof. Yung-Hsien Chang (Graduate Institute of Acupuncture Science), Dr. Jhen-Hua Wu(Attending Physician, Department of Acupuncture), and Dr. Shu-Feng Hsieh. They discussed the structure and scope of CMU hospitals.

After the meeting Prof. Yung-Hsien Chang and Kuang-Han Chang, Director of the Office of Public Relations introduced the Chinese Medical Health and Wellness Center of the CMU hospitals. The delegates were astonished at the fine facilities and the good services that the hospitals provide.

At the end of the visit Dr. Jin-Chun Chen expressed his appreciation for CMU’s hospitality and also invited CMU faculties to visit Xiamen Hospital of T.C.M.
