China Medical University Ranked 69th in the 2013 Inaugural Times Higher Education Asia University Rankings

China Medical University (CMU) had once positioned itself as a “Teaching Intensive University”. However, since 2012, CMU has set the goal to become one of the top universities around the world. In recent years, under the leading of the Board Chairman Chang-Hai Tsai and President Jong-Tsun Huang, CMU had been awarded by the Ministry of Education with the highest fund for the last six years.

CMU had always been devoted to elevated teaching quality, improved leaning environment, enhanced academic research and advanced internationalization.

Through Teaching Excellence Project, CMU has taken the first step towards improving faculty structure, allowing different departments to specialize in their teaching fields. Second, establishing research center and providing reward to increase the motivation and research capacity. Third, by cooperating with top universities and research organizations around the world, providing CMU students with global perspective. Fourth, recruiting international students and creating English learning environment in the campus. Lastly, encourage faculty and students to participate in international academic related activities, building CMU’s recognition around the world.
