The Student delegation from University of South Carolina visited CMU

On May 19th 2011, Dr. Doyle Stevick led 9 students from University of South Carolina (USC) to visit China Medical University (CMU). These USC students had strong interest in Asian Culture and thus decided to visit CMU to explore more about Traditional Chinese Medicine during their summer program in Taiwan.

President of CMU Prof. Jong-Tsun Huang welcomed the delegation and gave a brief introduction of CMU. The Ph.D. students of School of Chinese Medicine, Mr. Chung-Chih Tsai and Gabriel Fuentes (foreign student), also joined the meeting and shared their opinions and knowledge of TCM with USC students.

After the meeting the delegation visited Lifu Museum of Chinese Medicine and Department of Acupuncture of CMU hospital. The students were so excited that everyone experienced an acupuncture treatment and said that was a very unique experience in their life.
