Delegation of Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine visited CMU

On July 5th, 2011, Dr. Zuo-Jing, the Vice-Dean of College of Graduate Students of Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, led 11delegates from Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine to visit China Medical University (CMU). The purpose of this visit was to discuss the  collaboration on graduate student exchange.

After a brief introduction of College of Graduate Students of Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Dr. Zuo expressed her hope that both universities could start on the graduate student exchanges in the area of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Pharmacy. President of CMU Professor Jong-Tsun Huang expressed his welcome to the delegates and the future collaboration. He said that Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine has close ties with CMU, and the two universities also signed the collaboration agreement of exchange students in April 2011. With the basis of collaboration agreement, he looked forward to the future exchange of graduate students and research collaboration. In the first semester of 2011 College of Nursing of Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine will send two students to School of Nursing in CMU to study for 1 semester.

The delegation of Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine was grateful for CMU’s reception and both parties looked forward to the coming collaboration of students exchange with each other in the near future.
